Sellers original description:
Beautiful left hand drive 1952 Jaguar XK120 FHC. Finished in black/black, which has been the subject of a $165K restoration by Fokkens Engineering. Probably the best 120 on the market, reminds me of the sort of cars you see at Pebble Beach.
The Jaguar XK120 was manufactured on the 13th October 1952 and dispatched to the USA on 3rd November 1952 to Hornburg, Los Angeles the original distributor. The original colour was Gunmetal Metallic with red interior. The original engine has been replaced at some point in the cars history, however it does have the correct type of engine fitted, a genuine 120 unit with the W prefix.
The high spec includes sand cast 2" carbs with customised rear exhausts, louvered bonnet, bucket seats, alloy rad, dual circuit brakes etc. The fitting of the bucket seats and Moto Lita steering wheel makes for extra leg room, so 6ft plus drivers will be able to fit in the cockpit. All superbly detailed, as good on the under side as the top. Comes with a superb detailed history file.
