1959 MGA Twin Cam Coupe
(Featured on 3rd July 2013)

Make: MG
Model: MGA
Year: 1959

Sellers original description:

Owned since 1999 when acquired as a stalled, but virtually rust-free project, a full ground-up restoration was commissioned and began in 2001. It was finally completed in 2007 with Sikkens two-stage black paint by a Pebble-Beach Class Winning painter,  engine by Mack Motorsports and final assembly by Carl Heideman's Eclectic Motorworks. Finished in Sikkens The interior is covered with genuine Connolly hides to the factory original pattern and green color on deluxe seats. As is correct for a 1500-style coupe, dashboard and trim accents are black. Carpets are the correct light grey used on all but a handful of special order coupes. All hardware and detailing is factory correct and you will be hard-pressed to find a better, more correct Twin Cam coupe. Before break-in, the mid-compression engine was dyno-tested at 105bhp. After rolling road tuning and roughly 1,000 miles it is likely to be even more powerful. It runs smoothly, pulls strongly and sounds glorious. On a recent 90 degree day, the temperature gauge stayed just beneath the 190 degree marking.
