1981 Pontiac Firebird TransAm "34,938 Actual Miles"
On Display At The World Renowned "Cars Of Dreams" Museum
Exterior: Solar Gold (Factory Y33 Paint code)
Serial Number: 1G2AW872BL129312
Mileage: 34,938 (fully documented actual mileage)
This was the last year of the F-Body TransAms & Camaros.
Thisone owner car with LESS than 35,000 original miles has never been restored and shows exceptionally well. It is unmodified and unaltered other than the factory exhaust configuration.
Even the tires are factory original to the car.
The SOLAR GOLD finish is the original factory paint other than a few small areas that have had professionally executed touch-ups.
This car was never driven in the winter or in inclement weather. It was treated as a collectable car since day one. All the factory & dealer documentrs are included as is the original space-saver spare and tools.
On June 5th, 1981, Louise Rowell of Ocoato Falls Wisconsin took delivery of this gorgeous Pontiac TransAm Firebird from Northland Motors (Pontiac Franchised Dealer) in Coleman, Wisconsin.
In addition to all of the factory options Louise opted to have this car rustproofed, added extra insulation, had the Magic Shield Plastic and floor mats added which brought the final sales price to $9822.88.
This was a pretty fair price for this TransAm as the MSRP was $10,560.23.
Louise adored her TransAm. In the add in which she 1st advertised this car for sale in 2003 she stated she was the ORIGINAL owner, and that her car was never in any type of accident, never driven in the Winter and always kept in her garage.
She further stated she only drove this car an average of 1500 miles a year.
This is the best, all original 1981 TransAm I have ever seen or driven.
