1981 Porsche 911 SC Coupe
(Featured on 25th July 2012)

Make: Porsche
Model: 911
Year: 1981

Sellers original description:

You are looking at a one of a kind Porsche 911 who’s owner has spared no expense in building this LS2 powered super car with 993 turbo conversion body updates. Don’t let the age of the cars chassis confuse or discourage you because the chassis is pretty much all that has remained original on this car. Besides, the chassis of a 1981 Porsche 911 and a 1998 993 are about 80% the same. Other than the chassis pretty much everything else on this car has been updated or improved one way or another

This car is different and special for many reasons starting from the reason why I built it. This is an important factor because I am very knowledgeable and passionate about these cars and extremely detailed oriented, having a disposable income at the time helped.. The result is one of the most detailed V8 conversions in existence

With this car you get the best of all worlds, the light weight chassis of the early 911’s, the styling of the most desired 993 wide body convertible and the reliability and power of an American muscle car. Best of all no more expensive maintenance or repairs from the Porsche dealer, with the LS2 motor all parts can be purchased from the local auto store and accessibility within the engine compartment is awesome, unlike the flat 6 Porsche motors
